Bradford Teasdale specializes in the creation of large-scale concrete artwork for architecture and design. His work is structural as well as decorative, and incorporates the latest advances in sustainable concrete design.
Bradford left a promising career in finance 10 years ago to follow his dream of working with his hands. He studied classical Roman and Byzantine traditions of mosaic, and cut many thousands of pieces of glass by hand to refine his skills. After perfecting traditional mosaic techniques he was invited to teach at UrbanGlass in Brooklyn NY, where he was introduced to a variety of hot glass styles that he assimilated into his work.
Through this exploration of materials, Bradford developed new ways of combining concrete and glass. With concrete, he introduced a clean and contemporary aesthetic and found wide structural applications for his art.
Bradford’s work unites traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. He collaborates with architects, designers and connoisseurs on a wide range of projects, from custom furniture to exterior walls. His exploration of cutting edge materials and technologies introduces new and exciting applications for concrete in art and design.
